Team Trono Finds Another Win In Spain

It's May 31, 2024 and Brandon Kewalramani has just won his first professional trophy. After firing an impressive 66-65-69, he's enjoying the feeling of the winner's circle in Almeria, Spain, just miles away from the birthplace of Trono Belts in Sevilla. A debut victory is as sweet as it gets, but Kewalramani is just getting started.

Kewalramani, who is based out of Simi Valley, California, has been a member of the Team Trono crew since 2022 and is currently ranked 1078th in the Official World Golf Rankings. He began his professional career on the Pro Golf Tour following his time at Boston College. After which, he turned to social media to grow the game of golf by sharing his own tips and tricks of the sport (check out his stuff on Instagram @kewalgolf). Finally, he debuted on the Alps Golf Tour earlier this year where in just his third start, he finished T3. This preceded the previously mentioned win in Almeria, but this was just the beginning of his summer success.

Now fast forward to July 3, 2024. Kewalramani prepares to tee it up once again in Almeria, but this time at the Aguilon Golf Course. The Alps Golf Tour event, titled 'Alps de Andalucia', contains yet another strong field primarily made up of Europeans. The impressive lineup doesn't faze Kewalramani, as he comfortably fires an opening round 67, followed by a second round 64. This puts him in a tie for first with Italian Flavio Michetti heading into the third and final round. The pair is three shots clear of the remainder of the field.

During round three, Kewalramani gets off to a hot start with a 3-under front nine, while Michetti falls behind shooting even par. Michetti is only able to claw back within two strokes on the back nine, but by now he isn't Kewalramani's primary concern. Ireland's Robert Moran has come in with a final round 64 and after bogeys at both holes 13 and 14, Kewalramani sits tied for the lead. With his Navy Blue belt notched tight, and a memory of his previous success in Spain, Kewalramani locks in for an impressive finish. He completes the final four holes 1-under and edges out a one shot victory.

With two wins in just eight starts in 2024, the sky is the limit for the Trono Belts ambassador. He is one win away from automatically gaining status on the European Challenge Tour, so be on the lookout for Kewalramani's name on Alps Golf Tour leader boards and be sure to follow his journey to become ranked inside the Top 1000 Professional Golfers in the world. And if you're hoping to catch a little bit of that summer success, be sure to rep Trono Belts so that you can play great... and look good while you do it.
